Plenty of optimism for EHS boys basketball
With all five starters back, the Eagan boys basketball team has high expectations for itself heading into Friday night's season opener.
Matt Hentges and Jameson Parsons were once part of an Eagan youth basketball team that won a state championship. Now Wildcat seniors, the pair are confident the talent is there to make a run at some hardware for the Eagan High School trophy case. Of course, a number of factors are required to make that happen, most notably staying on the court; something the Wildcats had problems with during last year's 16-11 season. "We're confident, and I think we've got a really athletic team than any other ones for sure," Hentges said. "If we can stay healthy, we got a good shot at going a long ways. ...
