Eagan High School Bands Perform For Family, Friends
Eagan High School's four bands performed several songs for the public during its annual 'Pops' concert.
Band students eagerly took their seats in the auditorium, watching and listening intently as the next band took to the stage. "I like seeing how the other bands perform," Nissi Kunjummen, a freshmen band student, said. Four different bands at Eagan High School performed songs, such as Michael Jackson's Thriller, for many listening ears at Tuesday night's 'Pops' Concert. The freshmen band, concert band, symphonic band and wind ensemble each played three selections, including Chicago Tribune March arranged by W. Paris Chambers and Canterbury Chorle arranged by Jan Vandergeest. One of the most challenging parts of the concert was the amount of time the 308 students had to prepare.
