Loud Radio Upsets Gophers Fan, Leads to Three-Hour Standoff, Police Say

Daniel Thomas Drobac, 32, faces one felony count of terroristic threats following the incident, which took place on Jan. 18, according to a criminal complaint issued by the Dakota County Attorney's Office. Officers were dispatched to a home on the 1600 block of Woodgate Lane in Eagan just after 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning, when the utility worker called police and told them a man threatened to shoot her. But officers didn't apprehend the suspect—identified as Drobac—until 12:50 p.m…

Police Standoff on Woodgate Lane in Eagan Ends Peacefully

Eagan police deployed a negotiator and a tactical team to a home on the 1600 block of Woodgate Lane in Eagan just after 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning. Police say they received a call from a female utilities contractor working in the area, who claimed a man came out of the residence and threatened to shoot her. The man, identified as Daniel Thomas Drobac, of Eagan, was arrested and is currently being held pending terroristic threats charges…
