Council Preview: Affordable Housing Vote, Pilot Knob Road Study

Will Eagan may soon be home to another affordable housing complex, if the council votes to approve a site plan and rezoning for a 50-unit townhome facility near Lemay Lake.

Because it is a federal holiday recognized by the state of Minnesota, city government will take the day off—which means that Eagan's City Hall, Wescott Library and all other branches of the Dakota County Library system are closed. Holiday hours go into effect for the Eagan Community Center, which will remain open from 5:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. Cascade Bay will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Labor Day. The United States Post Office is also closed on Monday, though many local  retailers and supermarkets will be open on …
