The café, which debuted in Eagan's Promenade Shopping Center last Friday, serves more than 30 smoothie varieties and a bevy of other items, including toasted flatbread sandwichs, breakfast bagels, wraps and salads. Customers can also order health supplements like ground flax seed and whey protein to bolster their smoothies. CherryBerry, an Oklahoma-based restaurant franchise, is the latest eatery to open up shop in Eagan. The family-friendly yogurt shop, which will offer a relaxed atmosphere late hours on the weekend, is located on the west side of the Eagan Promenade, adjacent to Potbelly Sandwich Shop. The restaurant will cater to both health food junkies and customers with a sweet tooth, according to CherryBerry District Manager Dan Nelson. For Eagan native Brandon Fox, running is a way to take his mind off the world. An enthusiastic competitor with one marathon and other, shorter races under his belt, Fox is poised to share his love for the sport as the manager of the soon-to-be-opened Running Room in Eagan. The Running Room, one part athletic store and one part training center, is set to debut on May 9 in the Eagan Promenade retail center. The 1,319-square-foot store will sell shoes, apparel, socks accessories, nutritional items and electronics—all of which is geared toward casual and competitive runners.
