Caponi Art Park Awarded $9,950 MRAC Grant Funding

On Jan. 29, the Metropolitan Regional Arts Council awarded $215,730 in funding to a handful of organizations as part of its Arts Learning program.

On Jan. 29, the MRAC awarded $215,730 in grants to organizations as part of its Arts Learning program. Caponi Art Park received $9,950 of that total to fund its Family Fun Tuesdays program, which includes 13 weekly interactive performances and workshops for inter-generational audiences. The purpose of the MRAC's Arts Learning grant program is to cultivate creativity and deepen arts knowledge for children, youth and adults by engaging people in extended arts experiences, according to a press release …
