Eagan Rotary Club Gives $30,000 in Grants to Local Nonprofits

Recipients included Cheerful Givers, the Eagan Men's Chorus, the Eagan Resource Center and 13 other organizations.

Sixteen nonprofit organizations who serve the Eagan community were the recipients of $30,000 in much needed grant money that was raised this year by the Eagan Rotary Club. The grants were awarded at the Eagan Rotary’s annual Grant Awards Ceremony, held on Nov. 21 at the Eagan Community Center. Grant recipients were chosen from a variety of education, social service, youth, arts and civic-focused 501(c)(3) designated organizations. Give to the Max Day is an annual opportunity for Minnesotans to donate to their favorite local, regional or statewide nonprofits.

Those are some big numbers, and Minnesotans will get another chance to beat that mark on Nov. 15 as Give to the Max Day rolls around once again. Launched in 2009, Give to the Max Day is an annual opportunity for Minnesotans to donate to their favorite local, regional or statewide nonprofits at GiveMN's website.
