Eagan High School's First-Ever STEM Career Fair Draws Hundreds

Students had a chance to rub elbows with roughly 80 professionals in science, technology, engineering and math-related careers at Eagan High School on Tuesday.

She left with a clearer view of the industry and her future educational path, courtesy of the roughly 80 science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) professionals gathered at the event—the first of its kind at the high school. "They gave you tips on what college path to go on, they explained more of what they do, and more insight into what the industry has," said Schornak, a high school gymnast. Eagan High School Holding STEM Career Fair on Feb. 26

Students from all area high schools and their parents are invited to Eagan High School to learn more about careers in science, technology, engineering and math.

The fair, sponsored by the EHS First Robotics Team, Thomson Reuters and International Office Technologies will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the student commons. The event is free and open to the public. Students in grades 9–12 from all area high schools and their parents are welcome to attend the career fair to learn more about careers in science, technology, engineering and math.
