Considered a traditional bank holiday, you will nevertheless find many banks and most retail stores open for business. However, here is a short list closings that may impact the local community. Dakota County libraries will also be closed Christmas Eve, but Eagan’s City Hall will be open from 8 a.m. to noon. On Christmas Eve, holiday hours go into effect for the Eagan Community Center, which will remain open from 5:45 a.m. to 2 p.m. The center is closed Christmas Day.
