Eastbound 494 Closing at Cedar Avenue Oct. 18

MnDOT says the closure is still planned even with the "drizzly forecast."

While travel on westbound Interstate 494 will be open this weekend, a portion of eastbound I-494 will be closed.

Eastbound I-494 between I-35W and Cedar Avenue will close at 10 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 18. It will reopen by 5 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 21.

The closure is to allow crews to resurface the roadway, said the Minnesota Department of Transportation.
