Missing Woman Found Safe in Carver County

Lois Hardt, 84, was found shortly after police issued a missing persons alert.

Police have called off the search for an 84-year-old Eagan woman who went missing on Wednesday.

Lois Hardt was found last night in Carver County, unharmed, said Det. Sgt. Nate Tennessen. Hardt went MIA for a time after leaving Southtown Bowling Lanes in Bloomington around 2:30 p.m. on Sept. 18. Tennessen said that Hardt became disoriented while driving home and got lost.

"There was no foul play involved," Tennessen said. "This had never happened to her before. The officer who spoke with her last night said she was very lucid and sharp."
