12th Annual Home and Leisure Show Takes Place This Weekend

The Eagan Civic Arena is prepping for its 12th Annual South of the River Home and Leisure Show this upcoming weekend.

The show will be held Friday, March 11 from 4-8 p.m.; Saturday, March 12 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.; and Sunday, March 13 from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. There will be 80 vendors showcasing a broad range of home and leisure products and services at this event; admission is free, according to an Eagan press release.

Home Depot will be offering free seminars as well. Here is the schedule of the seminars, according to the city's website:

Weekend Seminars

Friday, March 11

• 5:30 p.m. - Installing a ceiling fan
• 6:30 p.m. - Installing ceramic tile

Saturday, March 12

• 10:30 a.m. - Emerald Ash Borer (City of Eagan's Gregg Hove)
• 10:30 a.m. - SWPP Annual Meeting
• 11:30 a.m. - Replacing plumbing fixtures
• 12:30 p.m. - Caring for your lawn and garden
• 1:30 p.m. - Energy saving home improvements
• 2:30 p.m. - Interior Painting Projects

Sunday, March 13

• 11:30 a.m. - Solar power systems and backup generators
• 12:30 p.m. - Exterior staining projects
• 1:30 p.m. - Energy saving home improvements
