  • When/Where:
    7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17 at the .
    Why Go:
    Embrace your sense of adventure with a night out creating art. The mystery is you won't know what you're doing until you get here. But, it's guaranteed to be fun, imaginative and creative. You might try a new technique, play with a fun medium of explore some fun art tools. Great for a date night or an evening out with friends. We'll even serve light refreshments. All supplies provided. Pre-registration encouraged.

  • Open Gym and Volleyball at Eagan Community Center
    When/Where:
    Open gym hours are 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 and Sunday, Feb. 19 at the Eagan Community Center. Open volleyball hours are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19.
    Why Go:
    Stop by and shoot some hoops or play volleyball. This drop-in half-court basketball time is open to all ages and skill levels. Volleyball is also open to all ages and skill levels. Please call ahead to check open gym availability outside of the designated times listed. Whenever there is a gym available the community center will offer all ages open gym.

  • When/Where:
    9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights.
    Why Go: Come check out this free arts and crafts fair! Enjoy various displays from local vendors.
    Cost: Entry is free.
  • Mixed Blood Theatre at Burnhaven Library
    When/Where:
    2 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 18 at the Burnhave Library in Burnsville.
    Why Go:
    Celebrate Black History Month with Mixed Blood Theatre as they bring the music of Lena Horne, Aretha Franklin, Queen Latifah, and many others to life, in this exuberant, music-driven celebration of African American women's triumphs and accomplishments.
    Cost: Free.

  • When/Where:
    5 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 19, at the Como Park Conservatory in St. Paul.
    Why Go:
    Enjoy free musical concerts at the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory, under the glass in the Marjorie McNeely Conservatory. Food and drinks will be available to purchase. The concerts are funded by the Minnesota Legacy Amendment's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund. The Robb Henry Trio will perform on Feb. 19.
