The kids are restless and want out of the house. Where can you take them this weekend to beat their cabin fever? Patch has a few recommendations:
Where/When: 7pm to 9pm, Feb. 18 at the Dodge Nature Center's farm education building in West St. Paul.
Why Go: Support Somerset Elementary and experience a fun evening mingling with parents, friends and school supporters.

Where/When: 10am to 4pm on Feb. 19, 20 and 21 at the Como Park Zoo & Conservatory.
Why Go: Three days of fun at Como Park's Comotown: Meet zookeepers, participate in a presidential scavenger hunt and learn about the presidents and their animal connections.

Where/When: 11am to 5pm on Sunday, Feb. 20 at the Holz Farm Park lake in Eagan.

Where/When: Noon to 4pm on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 8055 Barbara Ave., Inver Grove Heights .
Why Go: Celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Grove Aquatic and Fitness Center in Inver Grove Heights with free admission to the facility and balloon animals, a DJ, face painting and food available.
