The Parks Department’s annual Trails by Candlelight event will have Dakota County’s largest park glowing from 6–9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, as thousands of candles line paths and illuminate hills for an evening of winter activity. Park-goers can enjoy sledding, ice skating, skiing or snowshoeing with their own equipment, or opt to rent skis and snowshoes once they arrive.

Guests can thaw out between icy activities by sitting beside a campfire or relaxing indoors at the Visitor Center. Hot concessions will be available for purchase.

Lebanon Hills, 860 Cliff Road, Eagan, will have free on-site parking. There will also be free off-site parking at Woodcrest Church, 525 Cliff Road, Eagan, with a complimentary shuttle to the park.
