Meet the award-winning news anchor and former I-Team investigative reporter, Don Shelby.

Known as the "Walter Cronkite of the Midwest," Don will discuss his news career and his current projects including his new book, "The Season Never Ends." The event is scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 3, at the Galaxie Library in Apple Valley. The library is located at 14955 Galaxie Avenue in Apple Valley.

That event is followed by another local author appearance on Nov. 8. Annie Wilder will discuss her most recent book, "Spirits Out of Time," where she reveals true family ghost stories. The event is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thu. at the Robert Trail Library, 14395 S. Robert Trail, Rosemount.
