St. John's Bible Project

Learn about the St. John's Bible project and see copies of some of the stunningly rendered pages.

The Saint John's Bible project is a work of art and theology. A team of artists coordinated by Donald Jackson in Wales and a team of scholars at Saint John’s Abbey in Central Minnesota have coordinated their efforts to bring together the ancient techniques of calligraphy and illumination.

This program is part of The Art of the Book, the spring 2012 series of Minnesota Mosaic® programs sponsored by The Dakota County Library Foundation. This project was also funded with money from Minnesota’s Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
