There aren't many things that beat reading to man's best friend.

As part of the Dakota County Library's "Waggin' Tales" program, community members can bring their kids to the library to read to certified therapy dogs. It's not only fun, but it helps develop reading skills and fluency.

The program runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the Wescott Library in Eagan. Ages: 5-10.
