Nicholas David Expected to Compete This Wednesday on NBC's "The Voice"

The artist, who grew up in Eagan, has survived through several elimination rounds on the televised musical competition.

Nicholas Mrozinski, a Twin Cities artist who grew up in Eagan, is scheduled to compete in the "playoff" rounds on NBC's "The Voice" on Wednesday.

Mrozinski, who goes by the stage name Nicholas David on the show, is one of 20  musicians remaining on "The Voice", a televised singing competition featuring celebrity coaches. All are competing for a grand prize recording contract.

A total of 12 musicians—or three members from each of the four teams on the show—will advance to the next round after this week's competition. Mrozinski, who is a member of Cee Lo Green's team, has already defeated several fellow competitors in the show's earlier rounds.

Members of Adam Levine and Blake Shelton's teams performed during an hour-long episode on Monday night. Mrozinski is expected to perform once again on Wednesday, with a special elimination show on Thursday.
