Fantastic Sams Adds Eagan Location

The business is planning a grand opening event on June 1-2.

National hair care franchise Fantastic Sams has added a third salon in Eagan, and is planning a grand opening benefit for the the first week of June.

The new location, at 2075 Cliff Road, is the third Fantastic Sams salon in Eagan, and the 111th location in Minnesota, according to a press release issued by the company. The salon, which opened in mid-April, is owned by Chrystal and Kevin Olson. The new location is a full-service salon with a wide range of hair care services, including hair cuts, color, highlights, perms, facial waxing and more, the press release said.

The salon is planning a grand opening on June 1-2, and the Olsons plan to donate a portion of all proceeds from the event to the Eagan Resource Center. The grand opening will feature hair care discounts, drawings, refreshments and giveaways. Event guests are encouraged to drop off food items as part of the resource center's "Hope Speaks" summer food drive.

“We’re excited to bring Fantastic Sams’ quality services to value-conscious families in Eagan and the surrounding communities,” Chrystal Olson wrote in the press release. “We are also proud to be part of a company that encourages giving back to the communities it serves.”

Eagan residents, how do you feel about Eagan getting a third Fantastic Sams? Would you rather have seen a different type of business in this store front or are you glad to have an affordable hair care option in the Cliff Road area?

I don't think we needed it. However, I would suggest bringing in a Chic-fil-A. Yum! The only one is on the University campus.

Trashy, unprofesssional, overweight, unhealthy and jealous girls working in this place. If you like your hair don't go here.

Addendum to above- these girls seem to enjoy ruining other womens hair, not nice people at all working here. You would think even if you don't have a lot of money to spend that you are paying for a haircut and should get a decent one, certainly not designer but a reasonable haircut.....you will not get anywhere near reasonable or decent here. It seems they think they can do whatever they want with your hair because it's a inexpensive haircut. Oh well hair grows back and I find comfort in knowing what comes around goes around.

I agree with Sarah, had a terrible experience even tried to contact owner and someone from franchise office.
