This position assists in identifying, developing and maintaining metrics to reinforce the achievement of human resources strategic objectives. Maintains position control in SAP and ensures integration with other systems. Performs system testing, end-user training, reporting and end-user assistance.

Qualifications: High school diploma and three years working in human resources or finance, working knowledge of basic application languages and report writing tools, strong computer literacy and orientation (knowledge and experience with MS Office suite, spreadsheet and database software required).

Preferred qualifications: Experience with systems like SAP, Taleo, Cornerstone or Success Factors. Experience in report writing applications, such as ABAP Query, Adhoc Query, Cognos and Crystal report writing.

This position is responsible for effectively supervising enrollment service operations, billing and reconciliation, audit activities and training within Membership by planning, developing, monitoring and recommending processes and procedures that ensure positive service and performance outcomes, while leading and maintaining a motivated staff.

The UM Specialist is a critical component of BCBSM’s Integrated Health Management team. Generally, the position exists to promote appropriate, effective and efficient use of health care resources via pre– and post-service review, appeals and program and network referrals. The scope of this position includes medical and surgical care and treatment.

Qualifications: Registered nurse with current Minnesota license with no restrictions, one year relevant clinical experience, outstanding communication skills, outstanding analytical thinking skills, outstanding task facilitation skills and computer application proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of managed care experience (such as case management, utilization management and/or auditing experience), three to five years of RN experience, International Classification of Diseases (ICD–9) knowledge and Current Procedural Terminology (CPT) coding experience, and outstanding telephonic skills.
