Eagan Art Festival Returns This Weekend

The 19th annual festival will be held this Saturday and Sunday, with a over 100 artists and a special guest.

Art enthusiasts, get ready. Eagan's annual Art Festival is back.

The fest will feature over 100 sculptors, painters, photographers and jewelry makers. This year, the fest will also be graced by a special guest, Melvin Smith, one of two sculptors recently commissioned to provide public art for the Eagan Art House. Smith, an Eagan resident, will be on hand to discuss how his sculpture, "Metamorphosis," will be created. He will make an appearance from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

There will also be food, music and plenty of activities for kids. The event will take place at Central Park on Saturday, June 29 (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and Sunday, June 30 (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). Parking and admission is free.
