Send us your snowstorm photos and we'll post them to our gallery!

Eagan residents donned boots, heavy coats and gloves to clear out on Wednesday morning, after a snowstorm dropped several inches of snow and a slick layer of ice across the area.

Power outages were reported across the area because of heavy, slushy snow and ice on power lines. Fewer than 2,000 Dakota Electric customers were without power on Wednesday morning. Most of the outages were concentrated in western Lakeville, Apple Valley and Burnsville.

Light snow and gusty wind are expected to continue over Wednesday afternoon; additional accumulation could be as much as one inch, according to the National Weather Service.
