What's Open and Closed on Thanksgiving in Eagan?

Here's a list of what will be open and closed in Eagan on Thanksgiving Day.

City Offices are closed on Thanksgiving Day and on the day after Thanksgiving, Nov. 29.

The Eagan Community Center will be closed on Thanksgiving. It will be open regular hours on Friday, Nov. 29. 

Dakota County Libraries are closed on Thanksgiving. Libraries reopen on Friday. Wescott Library hours on Friday are 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

U.S. Post Offices are closed on Thanksgiving.

Trash pick-up on or after Thanksgiving will likely be delayed this week. Check with your garbage and recycling hauler to make sure. A list of city-licensed companies are available on the Eagan website.

Banks are generally closed on Thanksgiving. Contact your bank to find out specific business hours.

Grocery Stores: Cub Foods, Kowalski's Market, Rainbow Foods, and Lunds and Byerlys will be closed on Thanksgiving Day. 

Minnesota Valley Transit Authority will not operate buses on Thanksgiving. The METRO Red Line will run on the weekend schedule. MVTA has additional holiday hours and stops for the day before Thanksgiving and the day after the holiday. Check the MVTA website for more details.
