A Cheerful Graduate

Eleven years ago, Jeff Patnode sent a letter to Cheerful Givers which said:

“Dear Cheerful Givers,
Hi. My name is Jeff Patnode and I am eight years old. Please use my two dollars to buy a birthday present for a boy or a girl.”

During the last eleven years, Jeff has continued to support Cheerful Givers by sharing some of the money he received as holiday gifts and encouraging his sisters to get involved.

On May 30, Jeff graduated with honors from Providence Academy, and he plans to attend the University of St. Thomas in the fall where he said he will continue his support of Cheerful Givers.

Jeff’s Mom, Pam, who also is an inspiration to many, recently said “You are still Jeff’s favorite organization to support. Thank you for all of the encouragement you have given him over the years. It made a real difference in his life, and his willingness and desire to help those in need!”

Congratulations, Jeff!  We are so very proud of you.
