Cheerful Givers Selected To Represent Eagan in "Twive and Receive"

Cheerful Givers has been selected to participate in "Twive and Receive" which is a 24-hour online giving competition that supports nonprofits to fundraise. Each city will be represented by one cause. Cheerful Givers, which provides toy-filled birthday bags for less fortunate children, has been chosen to represent Eagan. Volunteers will fundraise for one day only, using Twitter, other social networks, and electronic media.Twive and Receive will be held simultaneously across the United States for 24 hours on June 14th, starting at 12:00AM Pacific Time (2:00 am Central Time). The top three nonprofits that raise the most money get a share of the $30,000 award pool.  

Residents of Eagan and volunteers across the country are encouraged to assist in promoting this competition on June 14 (one day only).
