Thanks For A Great Cheerful Givers Day!

Many thanks to all of the wonderful volunteers, sponsors, special guests and everyone who joined in the celebration of Cheerful Givers Day at “The Great Minnesota Birthday Party” on Saturday, March 23rd at the Mall of America. 

The day was special not only for those who attended, but also for the kids who had a chance to perform on stage.

J.D. Steele and the MacPhail Center for Music have brought together youth from all corners of the Twin Cities and all walks of life to join hands and voices.  Their performance was superb.  Partnership Academy is a charter school whose mission is to create learning experiences and partnerships that empower students to achieve their greatest potential. This group of second-graders sang the traditional birthday song used in most Spanish speaking countries in their touching performance. 

While the event was a successful fundraiser, and as a result, there will be more than 800 less fortunate kids who get to have a Happy Birthday, perhaps the
greatest gift to all were the smiles on the faces of our future generation.  Thank You!!
