BLOG: Burnin' Down the House!

An old, abandoned DNR house was burnt down by 30 Eagan firefighters and 15 state burn team members during Saturday morning's firefighting training.

Over 30 Eagan firefighters and 15 state burn team firefighters gathered on Saturday morning for a "live burn" of an old, abandoned DNR house off Highway 13.  Newer firefighters practiced extinguishing small fires inside the house which progressed to bigger fires as the morning training continued. By the end of the morning, the house was burned to the ground.
