The Eagan Rotary Club held its 25th annual gala fundraiser on Saturday evening at the Eagan Community Center. Celebrating its Silver Anniversary with a large crowd was a fun, glitzy event!
About 300 Eagan Rotarians, city leaders, politicians and guests came for a fun, glitzy night of socializing, auction bidding, dining, dancing and fun at the Valentine's Day-decorated Eagan Community Center on Saturday evening, February 11.
Chartered back in 1987, the Eagan Rotary Club celebrated its 25th annual gala fundraiser, one of Eagan's premier social events. Guests enjoyed appetizers and libations during an hour of bidding on 200 silent auction items to raise funds which support the Eagan Rotary Club's annual community grants and other service projects locally and internationally. After dinner, the crowd participated in a live auction of 7 large ticket items ranging from an Eagan Police "Shoot-a-long" to a Lutsen Adventure weekend. Finally, "Big Bob & the High Rollers" played lively dance music for steppers who packed the dance floor. Eagan Rotary gets significant corporate sponsorships which adds greatly to our net Rotary fundraiser proceeds.
