FERBER: National Night Out Was a Hummer of a Night

Stonebridge Ponds representative reports on National Night Out in Eagan.

National Night Out in our neighborhood was a success again.

One of the neighbor boys said “it was the best ever.”  The neighbors came and went and came back throughout the evening. Great pot luck food was available to graze on.

The Hummer with National Guard personnel and an Eagan Police Officer was the big hit of the evening.

The fire truck was also a welcome site as darkness fell upon us. We even had a city council member – Paul Bakken – who lives in the neighborhood stop by for a while. The freebies were distributed and a drawing was held for the free Twins tickets. Our neighborhood participated in the Food Drive to benefit Eagan’s Resource Center as well.

It’s great to live in Eagan where they support this community building activity.
