FERBER: Ten Reasons to attend Eagan's National Night Out on Aug. 2

Here's why you should go to National Night Out in Eagan.

10. Police will stop by to visit.

9. Fire truck will come to visit too.

8. Surprise visits. In the past we have had horses, snow plows, motor cycles, ambulances and humvees.

7. Meet neighbors who you don't know yet.

6. Participate in the food drive to support Eagan Resource Center.

5. Goodies will be distributed to the kids.

4. There is a good chance there will be food there. (We will have it at ours.)

3. Crime prevention begins with strong neighborhoods which are made up of folks who know each other.
