Yvonne Fahlgren Dierenfield, Piano Teacher and Choir Director, Dies at Age 86

Yvonne Fahlgren Dierenfield died on Nov. 11, 2013 at the age of 86. She was born on December 27, 1926 in Rochester, MN. 

Dierenfield taught children how to play the piano and served as a church organist and choir director, according to her obituary on Legacy.com. She also lived in England for a time with her husband, who was a professor at Macalester College.

She spent her retirement in Eagan with family and friends. Dierenfield "was an accomplished woman of rare beauty who will be remembered fondly by many people."

The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at House of Hope Presbyterian Church, located at 797 Summit Avenue in St. Paul.
