UPDATE: Eagan Crash Critically Injures Chaska Man

A two-vehicle accident is being investigated by the Minnesota State Patrol.

A head-on crash involving two vehicles critically injured a man and shut down portions of Yankee Doodle Road and Highway 13 on Monday morning.

The State Patrol handled the case. According to a report from the agency, James Flynn, 61, of Chaska, ran a red light in his Ford van and struck a semi. Flynn is in critical condition at Regions Hospital, according to a State Patrol report.

The semi driver, Brian Smith of Coon Rapids, had no apparent injures, the report states.
