Body Found Floating in the Minnesota River
The body of a man was found drifting in the water beneath the Minnesota 55 bridge.
A group of boaters discovered the body of an adult male in the Minnesota River over the past week.
The man, who has yet to be identified, was found floating near the Mendota Bridge on Friday, Aug. 23, around 3 p.m. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner has performed an autopsy. The investigation is still pending, wrote Dakota County Sheriff Dave Bellows in the department's weekly newsletter.
