November 1

Police stopped a motorist at Cliff Road and Ridge Cliffe Drive and cited the driver for driving with a revoked license and having no proof of insurance. The vehicle was towed.

A caller in the 3800 block of Westbury Drive  reported that a 17-year-old girl had found nude pictures of herself online. She told police she knew who took the photos and posted them.

A caller in the 1100 block of Northwood Drive reported an intoxicated woman trying to drive. Police collected the woman and took her to detox.

A caller in the 3600 block of Vermillion Court North reported that she had lost her Taiwanese passport in 1994.

Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at Crestridge Lane and Pilot Knob Road. Police cited one driver for pulling into traffic and causing the accident.

Police picked up a woman in the 2000 block of Opal Drive and took her to Ramsey County detox at the request of a Ramsey County judge.

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Denmark Avenue and Duckwood Drive. One driver was cited for failing to stop at a stop sign.

A woman was cited for theft in the 1900 block of Cliff Lake Road. She told police that she had forgotten to pay for items in a store after making a money transfer.

A caller in the 4000 block of Rahn Road reported that she was getting repeated calls from a fraudulent credit-card company asking for personal information. When she told the caller that she wasn’t interested, he told her to “[expletive] off” and then “got much more obscene.”

A caller in the 1300 block of Dunberry Circle reported that his 16-year-old son had threatened to kill him, then pulled a knife on him and ran out of the house. Police picked up the boy and took him to the juvenile detention center.

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Cliff Road and Slater Road. One car was towed; there were no injuries.

Police responded to a vehicle accident at Interstate 35E and Yankee Doodle Road. One person suffered a minor facial injury.

A caller in the 4500 block of Canterbury Circle reported that his 19-year-old brother had threatened to kill him. The victim said he had locked the suspect in the garage, but he had gone out another garage door and fled. Police tracked down the suspect and arrested him for fifth-degree domestic abuse.

November 2

An employee of Kids Carousel in the 1900 block of Silver Bell Road reported that someone pried open the store’s back door and took two cash registers containing $900. An employee of Bubbles Cleaners in the same block reported that someone had also pried open a door there and took $200 in cash.

Police stopped a motorist at Interstate 35E and Pilot Knob Road and cited the driver for driving without insurance. Police also warned the driver about having a loud exhaust system and no brake lights.

An employee of Cub Foods in the 1000 block of Diffley Road reported that two women had come to the store and bought $1,200 worth of gift cards using bad checks and fraudulent credit cards. The two returned the next day and tried to buy $400 worth of gift cards, but the purchase was denied. Police learned that they had tried the same thing at Cub Foods locations in Rosemount and Apple Valley.

An employee of Northview Elementary School told police that a “very aggressive and agitated” man had entered the building and said he was looking for his daughter. The school was locked down. The man left in a car; police pursued him at speeds in excess of 90 mph into Burnsville and then Bloomington. The man threw a cooler out the car window during the pursuit. He was eventually stopped and apprehended with the use of stop sticks and a K-9 officer at Lyndale Avenue and 90th Street in Bloomington. Police learned that the suspect had gone to Deerwood Elementary School earlier and said he was looking for his daughter there.

A caller at Coachman Road and Yenkee Doodle Road said someone had hit and injured her while she was on a school bus. The injured girl was pregnant; police called medical personnel.

A caller in the 3200 block of Donald Avenue said his 16-year-old son was smoking marijuana in the garage and that he wouldn’t listen to his father anymore. Police cited the son for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

A caller in the 900 block of Wescott Square reported that someone stole $300 in cash and some jewelry from her apartment. She told police she suspected the residents in the apartment above her.

A caller in the 4200 block of Eagle Crest Drive reported that her estranged husband had arrived at their daughter’s day-care center and “stormed in,” tried to pull her out of the building by her arm and had blocked her car in with his. She told police that she wasn’t injured, but wanted the incident documented.

A caller in the 1900 block of Sapphire Point told police that her daughter, a paraplegic, was in the middle of a divorce, and her estranged husband showed up at her home drunk at midnight and dropped her wooden ramp off at the garage. The caller said she was afraid things would “escalate.”

A caller in the 3500 block of Federal Drive reported that his roommates were smoking marijuana, and one threatened to shoot the other in the face if he ever called the police. Police spoke to the residents about “weed,” according to the report.

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Coachman Road and Yankee Doodle Road. No injuries were reported.

The Holiday station in the 1000 block of Diffley  Road reported a $31.27 gasoline drive-off.  The suspect’s license plate number was registered to an Inver Grove Heights address.

A caller in the 600 block of Chapel Lane reported two juvenile females smoking marijuana in Bur Oaks Park. One of the girls was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.

A caller in the 4200 block of Meghan Lane reported that someone had checked into Regions Hospital in April using her Social Security number, and now she is getting calls from collection agencies about accounts that she didn’t open.

A caller in the 1800 block of Deer Hills Trail reported that his sister-in-law threw hot water on him.

The Kwik Trip in the 3100 block of Dodd Road reported a $41.27 gasoline drive-off.  The suspect vehicle had North Dakota license plates.

A caller in the 3200 block of Valley Ridge Drive reported hearing screaming at a neighbor’s house, including, “I don’t want any more drugs in here, [expletive].” Police determined that it was a verbal argument between a mother and her daughter.

An employee of Cooper’s Restaurant in the 4100 block of Robert Trail South reported that two men had pried open a “crane toy” machine and removed its cash stacker.

A caller in the 1500 block of Antler Point asked police to check on the welfare of a woman who might be at her ex-boyfriend’s home. The woman’s family hadn’t been able to reach her for three weeks, and they were concerned about her. Police determined that she wasn’t at the Eagan address and asked police in Minneapolis to check at her home.

November 3

Police stopped a motorist at Interstate 35E and Yankee Doodle Road and learned that the driver was wanted on an outstanding Ramsey County warrant. The suspect posted $100 bond and was released.

A caller in the 500 block of Diffley Road reported receiving a text message from someone who identified themselves as a Wells Fargo agent, telling her there was activity on her account and asking her to call. She called and gave some personal information before she realized it was a scam.

The New Mart in the 1900 block of Silver Bell Road reported a $20.85 gasoline drive-off. The license plate was registered to a home in Inver Grove Heights; police contacted the homeowner, who said the suspect rented a room there but moved out in June, and that his former tenant owes him money.

The New Mart in the 1900 block of Silver Bell Road reported a $64.52 gasoline drive-off.  Employees were unable to provide a license number or a suspect description.

An employee of Cub Foods in the 1900 block of Cliff Lake Road reported two juvenile female shoplifters in custody. Both suspects were cited for theft and released to the school resource officer at Burnsville High School.

A caller in the 3300 block of Pilot Knob Road reported that someone stole a debit card that had been mistakenly left behind at an ATM, and had tried to use it at a nearby gas station. The card was canceled.

A caller in the 3500 block of Federal Drive reported some missing items after a roommate moved out. The victim believed that the former roommate had taken a frying pan, some ice trays and miscellaneous other items.

A caller in the 1000 block of Northview Park Road reported that someone stole a $400 mountain bicycle.

A caller in the 500 block of Tyne Lane reported that her son was home alone when two men in a van came to the door and asked if his parents were home and questions about magazines they had ordered. The two men fled when a neighbor opened a door and looked out.

A caller in the 4600 block of Ridge Cliffe Drive told police that he wanted to kill himself. He said he was intoxicated and needed help, but didn’t want to go anywhere. He said later that he was “having problems,” but didn’t want to kill himself.  Police contacted crisis counselors.
