An employee of Justman Freight Lines in the 4800 block of Robert Trail South reported that someone stole a Dodge Intrepid from the business. The employee said a spare key was in the vehicle’s glove box.

A caller in the 4100 block of Meadowlark Way reported that someone stole a wallet from a vehicle overnight.

The Holiday station in the 2600 block of Eagan Woods Way reported a $25 gasoline drive-off. Police sent a letter to the car’s registered owner.

An employee of Dunn Bros. Coffee in the 1000 block of Diffley Road reported a woman coming into the store and acting strange. The woman ordered “a lot of food and drink” and said she had served her husband with divorce papers, and was “hiding out” in the store. She asked the employee to send text messages from her cell phone. The woman was taken to a hospital for psychological evaluation.

A caller in the 4300 block of Pilot Knob Road said a man had threatened to “blow away” a police officer. Police tried unsuccessfully to locate the man.

A caller in the 4300 block of Lexington Point Parkway reported that someone cut the screens on the home’s windows.

A caller in the 1900 block of Silver Bell Road reported that a woman living there had been on a “drinking binge” for 10 days. The woman’s blood-alcohol content was .352. She was taken to a hospital.

A caller in the 3900 block of Valley View Drive South reported that her sister’s estranged husband was there and refused to leave. The caller said the man was staring into the window, and earlier had been making harassing phone calls. Police determined that the man hadn’t broken any laws and advised him to leave.

An employee of Wells Fargo Bank in the 1000 block of Blue Gentian Road reported that someone had opened a FedEx envelope containing loan documents, and found a “suspicious white powdery substance” inside.

A caller in the 3500 block of Baltic Avenue reported that someone took a laptop computer from a car overnight.

Police stopped a vehicle in the 1200 block of Town Centre Drive and cited the driver for driving with a revoked license and running a red light.

A motorist at Cliff Road and Interstate 35E reported seeing a driver who was dozing off behind the wheel and weaving all over the road. The driver was cited for DWI and two juvenile passengers were taken to their home in Burnsville.

Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Cliff Drive and Nicols Road. One car made an illegal U-turn in front of the other and caused the collision.

A caller in the 4300 block of Robert Trail South reported receiving harassing phone calls. A man told police that a woman kept calling him; the woman said the man kept calling her. Police advised the two to ignore each other.

A driver at Crestridge Drive and Crestridge Lane reported that another motorist almost hit his vehicle. Both drivers accused one another of wrongdoing; police filed a report.

A caller in the 4400 block of Cinnamon Ridge Circle reported that he was helping his daughter move out of her apartment, and her boyfriend was refusing to allow his daughter to collect her belongings. Police determined that it was an argument over property; the woman “grabbed what she needed” and left.

October 20

A caller in the 4500 block of Slater Road reported hearing people arguing in another apartment. The couple told police that they were arguing over money.

Police stopped a vehicle at O’Leary Lane and Yankee Doodle Road and cited the driver for an unspecified offense.

A caller in the 1900 block of Rahncliff Court reported a “verbal domestic” argument between a man and a woman. Police advised the two to leave the area.

A caller at Lexington Avenue and Lexington Pointe Parkway reported seeing a motionless man lying on the grass with his feet on the curb. The man was cited for underage drinking and taken to detox.
