Eagan Police Join the Twitterverse

Followers of the EPD's new Twitter feed will have real time access to crime alerts, safety tips and more.

The Eagan Police Department is now on the web's most popular—and most succinct—social media site. 

Effective immediately, the EPD will have a presence on the site, which limits each "tweet" to 140 characters or less. Police will tweet will information on major police incidents, safety tips, crime alerts, fun facts, investigation updates, arrests, and requests for public assistance among other things. To follow the EPD on Twitter log on and search for the handle @EaganPolice. 

The department also uses the city’s website and Facebook
