Eagan Woman Facing Felony Drug Charge

Christine Danielle Lynch is accused of altering a prescription for Oxycodone.

An Eagan woman is facing felony drug charges after authorities say she altered a prescription for Oxycodone and had it filled at a local pharmacy.

Christine Danielle Lynch, 45, is charged with a fifth-degree controlled substance crime, which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.

According to the criminal complaint, a pharmacist in Eagan contacted police on April 22 and said that he had filled an Oxycodone prescription the day before for Lynch, who had surgery scheduled that day.

The pharmacist said it wasn’t until Lynch had received the pills that he noticed that the prescription had been written for 12 pills, but someone had changed the amount to 120 pills.

An officer contacted Lynch, who admitted that she had received the prescription, according to the complaint.
