Police Blotter: Drunk Drivers, Graffiti, Bank Fraud

The The Eagan Police Department's crime report for March 17-21.

An 11-year-old female has allegedly been harassed and bullied at her bus stop by a high school student on Baltic Avenue and Pacific Avenue. The mother contacted both the bus company and the school regarding the harassment, but the bus company told her there was nothing they could do unless they heard the harassing comments or they saw her being assaulted. The mother allegedly wanted it documented.

A 55-year-old woman filed a fraud report that an unknown suspect obtained some of her checks and washed them and reissued them at two Kwik Trips (one in Lakeville and one in Farmington), two Kohl's stores and one at Canterbury. Police advised the woman to file a report in Lakeville and Farmington and to see if her bank can figure out which Kohl's stores it was used at.

An ex-wife was allegedly planning to take a 7-year-old child (whom she shares custory with the ex-husband) out of the country. The flight was confirmed for the next day to Nigeria. The ex-husband was trying to pick up his child from his ex-wife for exchange and the wife allegedly took the child and drove off. The ex-husband has a court order saying the ex-wife cannot take the child without his permission. According to police, the ex-wife had plans to take the child to Nigeria with her for three weeks without the father's permission and against court order. The child was placed on a 72-hour hold with the father.

An intoxicated male and female were asked to leave Axel's Bonfire on Cliff Road March 19. The couple refused. The two eventually got into a van, which was pulled over. The driver got booked in jail and charged with a third degree DWI.

A man was pulled over for a traffic stop on Yankee Doodle Road March 19, charged with a fourth degree DWI and released.

Somebody allegedly stole $4-$5 in change from unlocked pickup truck overnight at Walnut Trails Apartments March 19.

The front desk clerk at a hotel on the 1900 block of RahnCliff Court said they allegedly heard somebody in a room say "give me my gun back." Nobody saw a gun, others could hear the suspects talking about a gun. Police found no gun; two people were taken to detox.

Someone allegedly broke into the National Tire and Battery on Cliff Road overnight on March 20. The person who called in the crime reported the cash register had been broken into and an unknown amount of cash was taken.

Allegedly gang-type graffiti was found on the side of All Saints Lutheran Church March 20.

A wall was allegedly spraypainted and a picnic table damaged at PBBS Equipment March 21.

A tire was stolen from a car over the weekend on the 1300 block of High site Road. The car was jacked up on the right side and the rim and tire were stolen.

A couple of work vans were allegedly broken into over the weekend at Wenzel Heating. It is unknown if anything was taken.
