The Eagan Police Department is looking for a suspect or suspects responsible for vandalism that caused $7,000 of damage to road signs across the city.

In April and November 2012, police say a large number of street signs were damaged with paint or covered with duct tape—most of which had to be replaced. The vandalism occurred throughout the city, but most of the damage was concentrated along the areas of Wescott Road, Elrene Road and Dodd Boulevard, police say.

The Eagan Citizen’s Crime Prevention Association is offering a reward of up to $500 for information leading to an arrest in these cases. If you have information relating to these matters, please contact Detective Joe Marshall at 651-675-5836 or jmarshall@cityofeagan.com.
