The Eagan City Council will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. in the

Agenda highlights include:

  • Recognizing Eagan Police Sergeant Tom Schoenecker  who is retiring after 29 years of service
  • Accepting a $12,381 donation from the Eagan Citizens Crime Prevention Association for K-9 bullet-proof vests and a speed trailer
  • Final assessment hearings for five street overlay projects
  • Approving a contract extension with Design Nine for continuing consulting on the city’s fiber optic initiative
  • A number of zoning and planning presentations including plans for a preliminary planned development for Riverpark Office Center
