Met Council Schedules Listening Session in Eagan on Sept. 20

The listening session will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wescott Library in Eagan.

The Metropolitan Council is coming to Eagan.

The group, a regional planning agency serving the Twin Cities seven-county metropolitan area, is holding a listening session from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 20, at in Eagan.

The meeting will be a chance to hear about the council's long-range planning initiative, called Thrive MSP 2040. Priorities for Thrive MSP include maintaining a strong quality of life, fostering a vibrant prosperous regional economy and planning for essential infrastructure, among other goals. Attendees will also be able to share their ideas about the needs of the metropolitan area.
