Pilot Knob Traffic Study Open House Scheduled for Sept. 5

The study goal is to identify a roadway improvement plan for Pilot Knob Road between Central Parkway, Northwood Parkway and Yankee Doodle Road, Dakota County officials say.

Dakota County officials are hosting a Traffic Study Open House from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 5, to discussion roadway improvements for a portion of Pilot Knob Road.

This Open House is being held in the Oasis Room at the located at 1501 Central Parkway.

The study goal is to identify a roadway improvement plan for Pilot Knob Road (CSAH 31) between Central Parkway, Northwood Parkway and Yankee Doodle Road to address existing traffic and safety concerns such as delays, lack of available gaps to cross traffic and crash history as well as additional issues and needs based on projected growth in this area.

Representatives of Dakota County Transportation Department and the city's Engineering Division of Public Works will be in attendance to share information about this study, as well as to hear concerns/issues with current traffic in this area.
