Severe Weather Drills Scheduled for Next Week

City officials will sound the city's outdoor warning sirens next Thursday, April 19, as part of Severe Weather Awareness week.

As part of Severe Weather Awareness Week, Eagan city officials will activate outdoor warning sirens twice on Thursday, April 19.

The siren drills are scheduled for 1:45 p.m. and 6:55 p.m. next Thursday, and local schools, businesses and hospitals are encouraged to practice sheltering plans during the earlier drill, according to a press release issued by the city. For the later drill, families and other organizations are encouraged to utilize the opportunity to practice and/or develop a sheltering plan.
