RED LINE Is Running

The official opening of the RED LINE took place on Saturday afternoon.  There were activities for the children at the Cedar Grove Station along with information from the various vendor tables.  The launching took place at the Apple Valley Transit Station.
A number of vendor tables there, too.  A host of speakers from groups that collaborated on this project spoke.  One of those was Hennepin County Commissioner and Counties Transit Improvement Board Chair, Peter McLauglin.  He came to Apple Valley via the Hiawatha Line and the Red Line.  This service has been a long time coming and appreciation to all who participated.
