Private Schools in Eagan Close on Jan. 6
Schools are closing due to the extreme cold temperatures forecast for Monday.
Private schools in Eagan are closing along with public schools.
Faithful Shepherd Catholic School, Primrose School of Eagan and St. Thomas Academy will be closed on Monday, Jan. 6.
Governor Dayton announced the closure of public schools on Friday.
“The safety of Minnesota’s schoolchildren must be our first priority,” Dayton said in the announcement. “I have made this decision to protect all our children from the dangerously cold temperatures now forecasted for next Monday."
The forecast for Eagan on Monday is a high of -14 with temperatures feeling much colder.
