Eagan Lacrosse Teams Sweep Prior Lake

While some Eagan teams prepared for the postseason, others began their playoff journeys this week as the spring sports campaign moved ahead with a series of mid-week contests.

Boys Lacrosse: Eagan 5, Prior Lake 2

The Eagan boys lacrosse team upped its record to 9-2 overall and 6-2 in the South Suburban Conference by means of a 5-2 win at circuit rival Prior Lake on Wednesday.

Scott Pescheret and Cullen Wilcox scored two goals apiece for the Wildcats, with Calvin Lamb chipping in one tally in the victory.

Girls Lacrosse: Eagan/Rosemount 15, Prior Lake 10

A 15-10 win at Prior Lake improved the Eagan/Rosemount girls lacrosse team to 5-6 this spring. Individual statistics were not available.

Boys Tennis: Eagan 5, Apple Valley 2

The Eagan boys tennis team won its Section 3AA Tournament opener, 5-2, against visiting Apple Valley on Thursday. Individual statistics were not available. 

Baseball: Apple Valley 4, Eagan 3

A 4-3 loss to visiting South Suburban rival Apple Valley dropped the Eagan baseball team to 12-7 overall and 9-7 in the conference. Individual statistics were not available.
