Eagan Legion Advances In District Play

The Patriots' next game is against Lakeville North on Thursday.

The Eagan American Legion baseball team advanced in the District 3 tournament on Wednesday with an 11-1 win over Shakopee at Tahpah Park in Shakopee.

The win sets up a matchup with Lakeville North on Thursday. First pitch is set for 7:30 p.m. in Shakopee.

Lakeville North advanced in the tournament by defeating Chanhassen 10-0 on Wednesday.

Three teams from District 3 will advance to the state tournament next weekend. Eagan is three wins away from winning the district tournament.
