Eagan's Mollie Carroll Earns MIAC Athlete of the Week in Hockey

Star forward leads the team in points to help power an explosive Gustavus offense.

Eagan’s Mollie Carroll was recently named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) Athlete-of-the-Week for her efforts in helping the Gustavus women’s hockey team get off to a 4-0 start to the season.

Carroll recorded five goals and five assists in helping the Gusties outscore their opponents 26-6 through the first four games of the 2011-2012 season.

Gustavus is the defending regular season and playoff champions and Carroll’s play is helping the team pick up right where they left off last season.
