Small Business Counseling and a Pet Clinic Halloween Open House

A look at some of the events happening in Eagan the week of Oct. 14.

Wescott Nonfiction Book Group

The nonfiction book group meets at the Eagan Community Center from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 14. This month's selection is Rez Life by David Treuer. The Eagan Community Center is located at 1501 Central Parkway.

Small Business Counseling

SCORE will be at Wescott Library to help small business owners with the planning and operating aspects of business.
Time: 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16.

Play Music on an African Drum

ArtStart is holding a class at Wescott Library with master drummer Ghana Mbagye from Senegal. Youth learn dance moves and how to play music on African drums. Registration is required. The class is for youth ages 10-16.
Time: 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.

School's Out

Students at Districts 196 and 197 will be out of school on Thursday and Friday, Oct. 17 and 18.

Students at District 191 are out of school for the week: Oct. 14-18.

Lexington Pet Clinic Halloween Open House

There will be games for children and dogs, contests and drawings, as well as a chance to tour the facility. 
Time: Saturday, Oct. 19 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: 1095 Diffley Road in Eagan.
